In an interview with The Conversation Show, Canadian author Wendy Williams discusses her recently released The Globalisation of Love (Summertime Publishing, 2011), a book about multicultural romance and marriage. She believes “GloLo” couples (couples of different religion, race or culture) are often faced with issues beyond the usual “money, sex, laundry, cap on the toothpaste” issues of monocultural couples.
Wendy also shares a couple of her own GloLo moments, including her (disastrous) first wedding anniversary with her Austrian husband, which prompted her to start writing the book.
